What makes a team National Champions?

A team that knows they're the best, and believes in themselves because of the obstacles they overcame to get there. From the hard work, sweating and hurting together as a team, and respecting one another as a whole.
Giving credit where credit is due and especially giving thanks to the one that gave them the ability to play football; Our Lord, and saviour Jesus Christ. It starts from the top from coaches to the water boy, with much preparation from coaches to their players, and taking the talent with each individual, and molding them to the leaders of today.
Leadership is one key factor, and a team that has leadership, knows they are hard to stop, because they've been there, and have done what it takes to win.
Seniors playing their last game, showing the underclassmen the example of being winners in a hard fought game with pride, and dignity. Never giving up, or letting down, always playing each game like there's no tomorrow, and leaving everything on the field of play.
Whenever they win or lose they have a sense of pride that their team gave all they had, and more to be winners in the game of champions. Where would you find a team like this? I think you will see two of them in the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 4,1999.
