 Text: King James Version
Introduction: I got saved in 1975 and I have been saved ever since. I will explain later why I'm using the phrase (I'm still saved.) On Feb. 9th of that year a preacher preached on missing heaven by 18 inches, the exact measurment from your head to your heart.
The bible says in James:2:19: Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. As you can see demons believe, that God is real and tremble. I knew there was a God and thought believing in him and going to church was good enough. I was totally wrong in my thinking. People have a head knowledge of the Lord, but don't have a personal relationship with him (Jesus). Then I realized I could be lost and doomed and going straight to hell. Jesus said in John:14:6: I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
People must come to Jesus Christ to go to heaven, not by your degree you got in college or what you have done in church, teaching sunday school, music director, deacon, or how much money you gave to your church is not going to get you there. Human beings make it sound like you have to clean your act up before you get saved.
That's not the case with the Lord. He said in Matthew:18:3: Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. He said you must have child like faith. That means putting all your pride aside, degrees, money, prestige, fame, power or glory. It just like a father that's in the water and he says to his little child to jump into his arms and to have faith in him, because the little child never jumped in the water and doesn't know how to swim. So when the child jumps in the water and his or her father raises them out with his hands, that's faith! If you have that faith to jump in the arms of Jesus, He will save you, just like He said He would.
Jesus said in John:6:37: All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. It dosen't matter if you murder somebody or you live in the highest society with good moral character, we all are sinners in the eyes of God.
Romans 3:10: As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. Here's the picture, when Jesus died 2000 years ago, He died for the past, present and future sins of the whole world. So your sins have been paid for by His blood He shed for you and for me on the cross. The only thing that will send you to hell is not accepting the Lord Jesus Christ in your heart. God commands it, because He sent His only begotten Son to take your place on Calvary's hill. By not receiving the Lord Jesus Christ in your heart is like slapping God in the face and saying I don't need Him or His Son to live on this earth or beyond. That man or woman is badly mistaken, because right now lost and saved has the presence of His spirit here on earth, but when that person that's lost is cast to outer darkness after the judgement, he or she will be totally separated from His spirit for eternity.
The present time His mercy is upon those that haven't received the Lord yet, but the time will come He will be their judge. Hebrew:9:27: And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
You say, when is the best time to get saved? The bible says II Cor:6:2: (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) Not tomorrow, not when you get enough money or get a job, not when you get married, not when you think your good enough, but right now! You say I don't know what to say or how to pray. Don't worry I'll show you what to say, but first I'm going to show you the The Plan of Salvation.
The Plan of Salvation

God said his word would not return void, it would do His purpose, convict and show you that you're lost and doomed without the Savior (Jesus). Isaiah:55:11: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Now with a sincere heart as you read the plan of salvation, the Lord will show you the truth through His word.
The Romans Road
Romans 3:10: As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. The Lord tells us we are all sinners in His eyes.
Romans 3:23: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. His word is very plain.
Romans 5:12: Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. Remember Adam ate the forbidden fruit in the garden and the Lord said if you eat the forbidden fruit thou shall surely die and so his sin is passed to all men. For each child that is born today, is born in sin, because of Adam and Eve. Genesis 2:17, 3:6-7
Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. If you stay in your condition the way you are, you'll die in your sins because, of not excepting The Gift of God.
Romans 5:8: But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Even though we were going straight to a firely hell and deserved it, Christ took our place on Calvary's hill. He loved us that much!
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. It's by God's unmerited love and favor He saves us, through our faith in Him. He said it's not by your works or any thing you have done. It is The Gift of God.
Romans 10:9-10: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. The Lord makes it simple and plain, you must confess with your mouth to ask forgiveness and believe in your heart that Jesus came and died in your place and God raised Him from the dead the third day. Because He lives and is seated at the right hand of the Father, you will live also with Him by receiveing Him today.
Romans 10:13: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. I like this verse, because the Lord said whosoever. That means anybody, rich, poor, their background, position, language, country, educated, not educated, black, white, brown, red or any color of skin who call upon the name of the Lord Shall be Saved.
What You Must Do Now:
- Admit your need (I am a sinner).
- Be willing to turn from sin (repent).
- Believe that Jesus Christ died for you (on the Cross) and rose from the dead.
- Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life. (Receive Him as Savior and Lord).
What To Pray:
Dear heavenly father, I know that I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus your son died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal savior. I am willing, by God's grace to follow and obey Christ as the Lord of my life.
Now if you said this prayer and jumped in the arms of Jesus by faith. The Lord God said in His word John 1:12: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. Halleluiah!!! Now you have become the sons and daughters of the Living God! The devil himself can't touch you now, because you now belong to Jesus and most importantly we will spend eternity with Him forever.
This is just the beginning of a wonderful new life with Christ. Now:
- Get a King James Version bible and read it every day to get to know Christ better.
- Talk to God in prayer every day.
- Tell others about Christ.
- Be baptized, worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached.
Congratulations on the most important decision you will ever make in your life. Remember what I said in the beginning when I said: I'm saved and been saved ever since. Here's a page that will tell you once saved always saved by His shed blood on Calvary. Just click on the button SAVED!

THE GATHERING

Released in 1998 by DRC Production
I recommend this christian movie to the lost and saved. Great special effects capture viewers from the start in this well produced film about the upcoming rapture. Two unbelieving women have visions into the coming tribulation while a believing
husband puts his job, marriage, and friendships on the line to tell people about the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. This dramatic film has a great ending that will leave Christians uplifted and unbelievers thinking.
LEFT BEHIND

Released in 2000 by Cloud Ten Production 95 Mins
I recommend this film to all believers and especially the lost. "A must see film!!!" Buy this for your friends, and love ones that you been praying for, it has a great message for all. Right now you can buy the movie on DVD or VHS in stores.
Cars, suddenly unmanned, careen out of control. Terrified people watch their loved ones vanish before their eyes. Some say it's an alien invasion, but Rayford Steele knows that his wife's warning has come true--Christ has raptured His church and Rayford has been left behind in a world without God's people! But the darkest days are yet to come. A discussion starter film starring Kirk Cameron.
Here's a book that I recommend to the lost and SAVED people to read. The name of the book is THE DIVINE REVELATION OF HELL, by Mary K. Baxter. This is a true story about the Lord coming down to Mary and showing her the pits of a literally burning hell. The book will change your outlook on life and the way you see people around you. But first as a christian, pray and ask the Lord to show you these things by His spirit that are written in the book, and compare them to scripture. You won't be disappointed, believe me, if you know your bible. To order the book over the internet, just highlight The Divine Revelation of Hell and click copy and paste it to the search engine box below or just type it in. Don't forget to click books at bottom right first, before you click search.
