You say now your SAVED, because you believed by faith that Christ died in your place on Calvary and you asked God to forgive you of your sins, and received Jesus in your heart, Halleluiah!!! Now you are the sons and daughters of the living God, heirs with Christ Jesus. Since you're a new convert now and ready to be a witness for Jesus. Somebody right now is really mad, and can't stand the angels of God shouting and praising, singing Halleluiah in heaven, because you got SAVED, and was snatched from the grasp of satan hands. Satan can't touch you, but he can make you doubt your salvation, hinder you in the service for the Lord. God says in His word: 1 John:4:4: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Greater is He that is in you is Jesus Christ and he that is in the world is Satan.
Don't let anybody say you can lose your salvation because of sin. The difference between you and the lost now, is that your sins have been covered by the shed blood of Christ and their sins have not been forgiven. As long as you are in this body of flesh your going to sin everyday. It could be a bad thought or you said something or you saw something, you should not have seen. You see nobody is perfect, but God only. You can't keep yourself SAVED, only Christ in your heart keeps you in His arms forever. Christ died once, one salvation forever. Moses in the old testament struck the rock twice and God told him to speak to the rock. God was mad at him, and said he would never enter into the promise land because he struck the rock twice.
The rock represented Christ, and when Moses struck the rock, water came forth for the Israelites to drink. Christ is the living water that you will never thirst again and Christ died once, not twice. Numbers 20:11
Here's some awesome fantastic verses for his children that might have doubt in time of trouble or think that God can't keep his children safe in Christ from the storms of life.
To The Believer
Jude:1:24: Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. By believing in Jesus, the son of the living God, He is able to keep you from falling and present you faultless before God, because Jesus paid your sin debt on Calvary's hill.
Saved For Eternity
How do you know that the word of God is only for a certain time or a place? God said in: Luke:21:33:
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 2 Timothy 3:16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: When God says it, that's it, that settles it! Just because we change, doesn't mean God is going to change. "God is the same yesterday, today and forever." His word never changes, and when He says something in the Holy Bible you can count on it for eternity.
How do you know that your married? You have a marriage license to show that your married. How do you know that you have eternal life in Christ Jesus? You have God's word written down on paper showing His children that they have everlasting life! 1 John 5:13:
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may K-N-O-W that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
John:10:28-29: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. Jesus said I SAVED them from their sins and gave them eternal life and they shall never be destroyed and nobody is able to take them from Him. Jesus said His Father, God almighty is greater than all and nobody, "and I mean nobody" is able to take them from His Father. Not only are you safe in the hands of Jesus and God the Father, but He also says that your sealed by the Holy Spirit until He comes back! Halleluiah!!! Read this verse: Eph:4:30: And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Now after saying all that, there's no need to go any further about once SAVED always SAVED right? "Hold on" God is not finished about His promises to His children. You say, what else could be said! Read On:
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29: For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30: Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31: What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32: He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33: Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34: Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36: As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37: Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38: For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39:Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God's foreknowledge knew before He made the earth, the people who were going to be SAVED and those who were going to reject His son. But God gave people the free choice to whom they wanted to serve. 2 Timothy:1:9: Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
To them that receive His son Jesus, He justified, just like they never sin. To them He justified, He glorified, as just as if Jesus came back already in the rapture and you were change in your glorified body right now.
Who shall make an accusation against God's people? Nobody, even tho satan accuses before God daily that his people sin everyday. It is God that justifieth us like we never sin, because He sees His Son Jesus in our hearts.
Who is he that condemneth us? Nobody can condem us because Christ Jesus took our place on Calvary and died for our transgressions.
Who shall separate us from the loved of Jesus Christ once we been SAVED? Not anything that somebody can do to you or what you go thru, and not even if they kill you by the sword shall separate us.
Even tho the world hates you, because of who you have in your heart and are mistreated and some died for the gospel sake. The Lord says you are more than conquerors through him. We can do all things in Christ Jesus.
The great Apostle Paul that met Jesus on the Damascus road was persuaded neither death, life, angels, principalities (Satan & his demons), powers, things present, things to come (anti-Christ), height (heaven), depth (hell), any other creature (here now or in the future), shall take us from our Lord and savior Jesus Christ that in our hearts. Halleluiah!!!
Now if you doubt if the Lord can keep you SAVED, it's your own fault, not the Lord. He has given you His word and all the promises that are written therein and most of all He gave his only begotten Son to take your place on Calvary. The sins of the world has been paid for by His precious blood. John:1:29:
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
The lost don't understand, they think it's because of their sins, that's going to send them to hell. They are totally wrong! Their sins have been paid for by the precious blood of Christ. The thing that's going to send them there is not excepting Jesus in their hearts and confessing their sins. That's why God commands it, because His Son paid the price. Salvation wasn't free, it cost His only Son life, in that sin was put on Him that knew no sin, yours and mind. I hate to get up every morning and wonder if I'm SAVED or not. Or to think God is not able to keep me in his arms because I did something wrong in my life.
I don't care who you are, your not good enough to keep yourself SAVED or the works that you do here on this earth. Isaiah:64:6:
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags.
It's by Him alone Jesus Christ that keeps you SAVED in His arms. If you sin, God commands you to asked for forgiveness and that means everyday when you pray to Him.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
That means if you commit the same besetting sin in your life, God is going to forgive you of that sin and cleanse you like you never sinned, because you confessed unto Him.
The reason He's faithful to forgive you because you have His Son Jesus in your heart! Here's the big picture, when God looks down on me, He dosen't see me, He see Jesus in my heart and when I ask the heavenly father to forgive me for the things that I heard, seen, spoken, or though of that day, then 1 John:1:9 kicks in. From that point on after you prayed, your cleanse, then you ask God what's on your mind and He will hear you. Here's a page on The Power of Prayer. Just click on the button PRAYER!
The Holy Bible
Revelation 18: For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
